Senior Account Manager
MediaMorph is the leading platform for managing the distribution of Digital Entertainment including TV, Film, Games, Apps, Books and Mobile Content. Our customers use our product on a daily basis to manage all their distribution deals with distribution outlets worldwide including Apple iTunes, Microsoft Xbox, Hulu, YouTube, Sky Entertainment, Orange, Vodafone and 170 others. Our product covers the entire process from licensing content, to selecting the content to be delivered, to measuring its usage and then reconciling payments.
MediaMorph is a NYC-based start-up backed by private investors - we were founded at the end of 2007 and are in revenue with major customers such as Warner Bros, Sony Pictures, HBO, Fox, E! Entertainment and others. We are seeking a Senior Account Manager to help us manage our growth.
Position
The account manager will report to the Managing Director - West and will be responsible for managing the relationship with one or more of our key customers. The position can be based either in Los Angeles.
- Account Management – serve as the onsite presence to ensure that our customers needs are being met and fulfilled.
- Identify new areas for incremental revenue.
- Implementation Management – serve as the project manager for initial and follow-on implementation, managing the development plan and ensuring that activities are being completed on a timely basis.
- Production Support – Initial contact for any customer questions and issues. First line resolution with management of any escalation.
Required Skills:
The successful candidate will have had experience developing at a software company or a consulting firm dealing with core accounts.
- Demonstrated account management and project management expertise
- Knowledge of the Media and Entertainment industry
- Understanding of accounting and technology
- Solid Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Excellent communication and client skills
A four year college degree is required. The individual must be a strong communicator to technical and non-technical audiences including developers, customers, business analysts, designers.
Compensation:
Mediamorph pays a competitive base salary and full medical and dental benefits. In addition, we offer equity compensation and cash bonus.
