Founded in 2007, Mediamorph's cloud based distribution management platform is being used by leading Entertainment companies to help them operate more efficiently with greater visibility and control in the new world of Digital Distribution. Companies such as Warner Bros, Fox, Sony Pictures, Disney ABC, NBCU, HBO and many others depend upon Mediamorph to help them manage the core tasks in distribution from analytics to licensing to syndication to reporting to revenue recognition and royalties. With our integration with over 300 distribution outlets from iTunes to Hulu to BSkyB and France Telecom we give our customers a single picture of their content distribution no matter the media, business model or territory.
Position
We are seeking Technical Project Managers who would like to have the opportunity to apply their hard-earned skills in a rewards-driven environment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Requirements Analysis and Documentation – work with our customers to develop functional requirements and map these to specific technical requirements for customization, integration or configuration
- Program Management – develop and set up the processes for good program management including change control, reporting, governance processes.
- Project Management – create and maintain project plan to the task level working with all major stakeholders
- Day to day project management and reporting – track tasks with the remote development team on a daily basis and be available for reporting.
- Change Management – directly drive the change management with the customer, performing training, process redesign and direct support
- Risk Management – identify developing risks and manage to resolution
Technical project managers are responsible for delivering our implementations to completion working with a remote development and operations team.
Required Skills:
The successful candidate will have had demonstrated experience in custom and packaged software development, preferably in the media and entertainment or interactive industries.
Experience managing software development projects with budgets in the $250,000 to $1,000,000 range with 2-10 persons.
History of on-time, on-budget delivery
Strong project management skills and deep knowledge of software development
Technical background preferred.
A four year college degree from a top university (any country) is required. An advanced degree or else PMP certification is preferred. The individual must be a strong communicator to technical and non-technical audiences including developers, customers, business analysts, designers.
