ITV is committed to bringing the best content and quality viewing experiences to viewers across a range of platforms. As part of the strategy, digital distribution has been expanded across the web, mobile and third party platforms. The activity required the ability to normalize sources for rising volumes of data and meet contractual reporting obligations to rights holders.
Working with the team at ITV, Mediamorph quickly implemented our cloud-based data management platform and analytic tools. During the implementation process, both for historical information and an ongoing basis, data matching criteria have to be met to ensure the business stakeholders are satisfied with the results. Self-service reporting tools provide analysts access to answer questions as needed, while interactive dashboards empower the sales and research team.
Upon go live, Mediamorph delivered higher data quality, with faster turnaround time. The result was improved content performance tracking of programs and series, improved analysis, and reporting across web streaming, mobile and third party platforms. Additionally a custom report was created to simplify obligations of reporting viewership information to the UK music societies.
